REALTORS® with the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients.
SRES, Senior Real Estate Specialist
Senior Real Estate Specialists® are REALTORS® qualified to address the needs of home buyers age 50-plus. The SRES® Council awards the SRES® Designation to those members who have successfully completed its education program.
By earning the SRES® designation, Bob has demonstrated necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50-plus through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home. Bob has received special training, gets regular updates, and is prepared to offer the options and information needed in making life changing decisions.
DRS, Pennsylvania State Certified Mediator
As a state certified mediator Bob assists buyers and sellers to resolve disputes that arise after settlement, in accordance with the National Association of Realtors Dispute Resolution System.

Buyer Agency
Long before Buyer Agency was in vogue in Pennsylvania Bob Gordon researched it through the California Association of REALTORS ® in the early 90´s and soon began practicing it. He was met with much criticism from his peers mostly because they did not understand what Buyer Agency was. Bob was asked to teach a seminar at the REALTOR North Board Association in Northeast Philadelphia and he was a guest speaker about Buyer Agency at other Century 21 offices in our area. Bob has always felt that both buyers and sellers deserve to have representation and since sellers already were represented, and he was glad to be able to give buyers the same service. Today Buyer Agency is an accepted practice and most sales with buyers involve a buyer agent. Bob represents sellers or buyers in his residential sales.
The Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS has awarded Bob with the PAR Excellence Lifetime Achievement Award.
Through the PAR Excellence Club Awards, PAR honors REALTORS® who have exhibited high standards of professionalism through active participation in National, State or Local Association/Board activities, business activity and pursuit of education in the real estate field.
